My Girlfriend The Wildflower

is bright and blue and strong,

rocky calloused touches with wildness but

somehow, so soft

so soft

so soft

she is aloe

i am obstinance and grass but

she trusses

i fall open

she

rounds me out, with eyes of earth

lily pads of palm

fingerprints in soil

sleep in her mouth

every dream is

swimming to her
