My Girlfriend The Wildflower
My Girlfriend The Wildflower by Ronit May
is bright and blue and strong,
rocky calloused touches with wildness but
somehow, so soft
so soft
so soft
she is aloe
i am obstinance and grass but
she trusses
i fall open
she
rounds me out, with eyes of earth
lily pads of palm
fingerprints in soil
sleep in her mouth
every dream is
swimming to her
